Job Overview:


The Vice President of Marketing will spearhead the marketing division, encompassing brand management, digital marketing, and traditional marketing efforts.

This role requires robust leadership experience and a demonstrated history of guiding a diverse team in the formulation, development, and execution of corporate marketing strategies to maintain market dominance and stimulate growth in evolving business landscapes.


Key responsibilities include generating qualified leads through various methodologies such as strategic planning, advertising, corporate communications, public relations, market analysis, direct marketing, and other conventional media channels.


Furthermore, the VP of Marketing will supervise the marketing team, manage relationships with external vendors and third-party partners involved in the marketing ecosystem, and compile detailed performance reports that align with the marketing strategy and budget.


The ideal candidate must exhibit strong analytical capabilities, with the ability to assess the entire lead generation and sales process.

They will report on outcomes using KPIs such as ROI, CPL, and CPA, and implement a marketing strategy that can be evaluated weekly.

This position also entails managing and contributing to the launch of weekly campaigns across various platforms, including online, digital, print media, television, radio, outdoor advertising, direct mail, email campaigns, and marketing automation.

A profound understanding of contemporary marketing and analytics, along with expertise in extracting and interpreting metrics, is essential.


The VP of Marketing will also oversee the creation of engaging marketing materials and establish partnerships that yield additional qualified leads and cross-sales opportunities.

Familiarity with manufacturer co-op advertising and the ability to optimize available funds beyond standard program parameters is advantageous.


This hands-on role necessitates high-level strategic thinking and active participation in all facets of the company's sales and marketing objectives to ensure targets are achieved or surpassed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Refine and implement a comprehensive strategic marketing plan to support the company's growth objectives and enhance its market reputation.

Lead and develop marketing department personnel and external resources to execute strategies.
Develop marketing materials, effective lead generation initiatives, and sales collateral.

Collaborate with the Director of Brand Marketing to plan, manage, and execute digital marketing strategies, content strategies, editorial calendars, and social media schedules.

Create and implement SEO strategies to ensure on-site optimization, enhancing quality traffic, website rankings, lead volume, and brand visibility.
Work with other departments to devise effective market segment strategies.
Manage annual marketing budgets in alignment with corporate financial goals.

Develop creative communications, public relations, and advertising strategies to drive profitability and growth, and manage relationships with external marketing, advertising, PR firms, SEO, SEM, and social media partners.

Lead promotional initiatives and exhibitions.
Analyze product and brand performance using internal and external data sources, and adjust strategies as necessary.
Monitor competition and conduct competitive and post-mortem analyses to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing programs.
Develop, implement, and analyze qualitative and quantitative market research.
Drive the creative strategy of all marketing materials, including image selection, copywriting, and overall graphic design.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or technology required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
20+ years of experience in a senior marketing leadership role in a corporate environment.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with all departments and staff.
Significant experience with lead generation and direct response advertising.
Strong background in all aspects of marketing.
Excellent skills with Excel and spreadsheet creation for data analysis.
Strong CRM experience, preferably with Microsoft Dynamics or equivalent.
Experience on the client side in a similar role is a plus.
Proficiency with WordPress, website development, and maintenance.
Comprehensive understanding of SEM, SEO, paid social media, and high proficiency in Google Analytics and other analytical tools.
