Location: Nashville, TN

Salary: $25-30/hour

Shifts Available: Day Shift (5am-5pm) or Night Shift (5pm-5am)

Position Type: Full-Time

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Printing Press Operator to join our manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience operating printing presses, with specific expertise in web handling (WH) and flexographic printing. The primary responsibility of this role is to operate and maintain printing press equipment to ensure efficient production processes. Candidates must be capable of performing basic maintenance and preventative maintenance tasks to ensure optimal machine performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate printing press machinery, ensuring efficient and high-quality production runs.
  • Set up and adjust printing press equipment according to job specifications and production schedules.
  • Perform basic maintenance and preventative maintenance (PM) tasks to keep machines running smoothly.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation.
  • Monitor production quality, making adjustments as necessary to maintain standards.
  • Maintain accurate production records and report any issues or discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize workflow and achieve production goals.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience operating printing presses, with expertise in web handling (WH) and flexographic printing.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to perform basic maintenance and PM tasks.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and follow production schedules.
