  • Quality Assurance Management:
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of software testing activities, including functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
  • Establish and enforce quality assurance policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Ensure the timely identification, documentation, and resolution of defects and issues.
  • Monitor and report on key quality metrics, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Process Improvement:
  • Drive the adoption of best practices in software testing and quality assurance.
  • Evaluate and implement new testing tools, technologies, and methodologies to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Lead initiatives to automate testing processes, reducing manual effort and increasing test coverage.
  • Collaboration and Communication:

  • Resource Management:
  • Manage and allocate resources effectively to meet project timelines and quality goals.
  • Develop and manage the quality assurance budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
  • Identify training and development needs for the quality assurance team and facilitate appropriate learning opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Experience:
  • 15+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance, with at least five years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing quality assurance strategies and processes.
  • Strong background in various testing methodologies, including manual and automated testing.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in testing tools and technologies, such as Selenium, JIRA, TestRail, etc.
  • Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and related tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab).
  • Understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
  • Leadership and Management:
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and manage high-performing teams.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills:
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to present complex quality assurance concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. A master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a similar role within a large, complex organization.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to software quality assurance.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
