Job Summary:  The Technical Accounts Engineer will be responsible for managing and supporting key customer accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving sales growth. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and account management skills to understand customer needs, provide tailored solutions, and maintain strong relationships. The ideal candidate will have a background in electrical engineering and experience in account management or technical sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Account Management:

o   Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.

o   Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing their needs and concerns.

o   Prepare price estimations to our clients and cost calculations working with the related departments from ELTAS

    • Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing and resolving any technical issues promptly.
    • Conduct regular meetings with customers to review performance, address issues, and identify opportunities for growth.
    • Act as a liaison between the customer and the company’s engineering and product teams.
  2. Technical Expertise:
    • Provide technical support and guidance to customers on transformer specifications, applications, and solutions.
    • Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure product offerings meet customer requirements.
    • Stay updated on the latest advancements in transformer technology and industry standards.
  3. Sales Support:
    • Assist the sales team in understanding and fulfilling customer technical requirements.
    • Assist the sales team in preparing and delivering technical presentations and proposals to customers.
    • Support the sales process by providing technical insights and solutions to meet customer needs.
    • Prepare and manage sales contracts, quotations, and orders.
    • Help in drafting and reviewing technical proposals and quotations.
  4. Customer Relationship Management:
    • Build and nurture long-term relationships with key customers.
    • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
    • Coordinate with the service team to ensure timely and efficient after-sales & maintenance support.
    • Provide ongoing technical support
    • Conduct training sessions for clients to ensure they are proficient in using the products.
  5. Training and Development:
    • Conduct training sessions for customers on transformer products and applications.
    • Develop and deliver educational materials to enhance customer knowledge and product awareness.
  6. Project Management:
    • Oversee the implementation of projects sold to clients, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
    • Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., engineering, production, service) to meet project requirements.
    • Manage project schedules, resources, and budgets.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in account management or technical sales, preferably in the transformer industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge of transformers and related electrical equipment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to understand and interpret technical specifications and requirements.
  • Proficiency in MS Project, Oracle NetSuite and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with customers and attend industry events.
  • Must have work permit to work in US.
