Pennsylvania Autism Services, LLC is currently seeking full-time and Part-time Licensed Behavioral Consultants to work in our IBHS-ABA program with autistic children and emotional support children in Delaware County in Lansdowne, Yeadon, Sharon Hill, Folcrot, Upper Darby, Darby, Chester, Collingdale, Brookhaven, and Clifton Heights.

Position Summary: Under the direction of the Clinical Supervisor, the Behavior Consultant is responsible for developing the behavioral treatment plan, including an FBA, in conjunction with the child’s treatment team. The BC also serves as a consultant to the family, school, and any other agency involved with the behavioral treatment of the child. In addition, the BC directly supervises any BHT who are providing interventions with the child.

Summary of Essential Position Functions:

  • Collaborates with treatment team, including teacher and parent, to design and direct the implementation of a behavioral intervention plan.
  • Applies clinical skills in observation of the child in the home, school, and community as part of an assessment in preparation for designing the treatment plan.
  • Collects data on the behaviors that are addressed by the treatment Plan and provides observations and data back to the treatment plan.
  • Appropriately uses behavioral interventions, emotional support, and other treatment interventions to achieve approved treatment goals and objectives.
  • Complete detailed written progress notes of each IBHS service session. Ensures accurate and timely encounter forms. Completes monthly BHT Case Consultation forms for all clients.
  • Regularly and actively participates in regular supervision with the assigned supervisor. Supervises assigned Behavioral Health Technician.
  • Provides evidence of annual outside trainings including the PA Mandated Reporter training and CPR/First Aid.
  • Maintains current credentials including Child Abuse, Criminal and FBI clearances
