MAINTENANCE MECHANIC

Basic responsibilities of the Industrial Mechanic include repairing, installing and maintaining manufacturing equipment. This person will be required to troubleshoot complex mechanical systems, while working individually or as a part of a team with other maintenance and production personnel.

Qualifications for the position include:

  • 2 year vocational or technical degree or equivalent training/experience
  • Experience with mechanical power transmission components (couplings, bearings, gearing)
  • Welding experience
  • Knowledge of Lubrication techniques and applications
  • Knowledge of Hydraulics and pneumatics
  • Basic knowledge of electrical principles
  • Ability to repair, install and maintain manufacturing equipment
  • Experience with Microsoft Office programs
  • Good safety practices

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior Industrial Mechanical Experience
  • Advanced knowledge in an area of mechanical systems such as hydraulics, pneumatics, power transfer, mechanical design, or specification of equipment
  • Experience in project management
