We’re a custom neon signage company based in Los Angeles, looking to break into your local market - and we plan to do that by showing up everywhere our customers are, live and in color. That’s where you’ll come in. We operate in a highly competitive online environment, but not as competitive offline market, so with you onboard and hungry to sell we’ll be able to really reach new customers by having boots on the ground.
As a Radikal Sales Rep you’ll combine your drive, raw negotiating skills, and ability to influence, with our eye-catching brand, competitive pricing, experienced team and impeccably handcrafted signs to convince even the most discerning clients that a custom neon sign will enhance their business/event/space in a plethora of ways.
You’ll be the sole neon kingpin of your area, strategically mapping out the businesses that fall into our scope of clientele, and meeting with the owners to share with them what we can do to make their business stand out among the rest. You’ll sell dreams of endless instagram moments, and the eyes of even the most oblivious passerby caught in our piercing glow, because a nice piece of glowing art isn’t the only thing you’re selling - you’re selling a tool to provide return on investment.
You’ll be targeting two different types of clients, B2B & B2C. Firstly you’ll need to develop and maintain crucial relationships with Events Agencies & Signage companies in your area, as those B2B clients will be the cornerstone of your success. Secondly you’ll be introducing yourself directly to a range of other small businesses in the area who will require you for one off jobs (B2C) all managed succinctly through Hubspot. Outside sales can be a challenging gig riddled with rejection, so you’ll have to remain in a constant state of optimism to maintain great momentum.
This is an independent role that requires you to be in the field 100% of the time, wisely managing your time and calendar to maximize the ground you cover and prospective clients you engage with. We will also provide a handful of tools, an iPhone & an iPad that can help your clients visualize the result long before they’ve even said yes to a quote.
You will collaborate with our knowledgeable Los Angeles based design team who will create all of the proofs & quotes you need to sell the dream, and provide a seamless sales experience for your clients, leaving you to focus on the sales pitch. We’ll provide a support network for any technical assistance, and sales tactic discussion at your fingertips - we look forward to helping you win.
This position has a base salary of $45,000 per annum with an uncapped commission plan selling a high value product, with the opportunity to become the VP of sales for your area as market share is gained. The KPIs set for this role are more than achievable to someone hungry enough to execute them, and with our custom signs typically ranging between $600 - $1000 each, your high percentage based commission can give your salary a huge kick if you’re motivated enough.
Pay: $45k annual base salary monthly gas allowance of $300 & 15% Commission on revenue
Job Requirements:
- Driven focus to make as much money as humanly possible via our highly rewarding commission structure (on top of the base salary)
- Strategic thinker - someone who is self-sufficient and takes initiative and able to adapt.
- Is familiar with the Hubspot CRM.
- Maintain an impeccable level of communication with excellent written skills.
- Actively prospecting leads, we’ll also provide a comprehensive list of the best types of businesses to approach.
- You'll need to be extremely reliable, responsible, and punctual.
- Achieve monthly KPIs, or better yet, knock them out of the park.
- Must have a valid driver's license, personal vehicle & personal laptop.
- Outside sales experience required.
- Experience with signage or similar technical products a bonus.
