Xylem is looking for a Water Treatment System Maintenance Technician to report to our Madison, WI location and service our water treatment equipment at customer sites in the surrounding area.

 

What your day will look like as a Water Treatment System Maintenance Technician

The Water Treatment System Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the service and maintenance of our high-purity water purification equipment, utilizing a company service vehicle, at various customer sites in the surrounding area. Equipment specific training will be provided. Willing to train the right person, but previous experience working with commercial or industrial mechanical and electrical systems is required. Previous experience in plumbing or working with complex water treatment systems is especially encouraged.

This position has general day shift hours Monday-Friday with overtime opportunities and an additionally compensated on-call rotation with occasional afternoons/weekends.

Position Requirements for Water Treatment System Maintenance Technicians

  • HS diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience working with industrial or commercial mechanical systems and their electrical components is required- industrial or commercial process water experience a plus
  • Experience with Microsoft office, including the ability to utilize smart devices
  • Ability to work in a high customer facing position
  • Ability to identify and remedy potential safety concerns
  • Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, MVR, and DOT physical
  • A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

 

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: 50% or more local, daily travel to customer sites.
