New Speech Language Pathologist Position Open in Los Lunas, NM

Job Description: As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be instrumental in assisting students in overcoming communication challenges and realizing their full potential. You will work in partnership with teachers, parents, and other support staff to develop and execute individualized education plans (IEPs) and deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students with varied needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload ranging from PreK-12 students.
  • Participate in a swift interview process.
  • Provide onsite services.
  • Work full-time.
  • Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate students' speech, language, and communication skills.
  • Create and implement personalized treatment plans designed to meet the unique needs and objectives of each student.
  • Collaborate with teachers and parents to integrate speech and language objectives into classroom and home environments.
  • Track student progress through continuous evaluation and modify therapy plans as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders.
  • Active license to practice in New Mexico.
  • Previous experience in a school setting is preferred.
  • Open to both bilingual and non-bilingual applicants.
