Position Overview: We are looking for a committed and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to become a part of our team. In this role, you will deliver vital services to students facing challenges with speech, language, communication, and swallowing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive assessments and evaluations of students' speech and language capabilities.
- Design and execute tailored treatment plans to address specific speech and language issues.
- Provide direct therapeutic services to students, both in individual and group settings.
- Work collaboratively with educators and school personnel to incorporate speech-language strategies within the classroom environment.
- Track and document students' progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
- Engage in IEP meetings, contributing insights regarding students' development and requirements.
- Offer guidance and support to school staff and parents on methods to enhance students' communication skills.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
- Experience in a school environment is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Capability to effectively engage with diverse student populations.
