Position Overview: We are looking for a committed and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to become a vital part of our educational team. In this role, you will provide crucial support to students facing challenges with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive assessments and evaluations of students' speech and language capabilities.
  • Design and execute tailored treatment plans to address individual speech and language needs.
  • Deliver direct therapy services to students, both in one-on-one and group settings.
  • Work collaboratively with educators and school personnel to incorporate speech-language strategies within the classroom environment.
  • Track and document student progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
  • Engage in IEP meetings, contributing insights regarding students' progress and requirements.
  • Provide education and support to school staff and parents on effective strategies to enhance students' communication skills.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA is preferred.
  • Experience in a school environment is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Capability to work effectively with a diverse range of student populations.
