Job Summary Medical Billing Specialist

Millennium Medical is seeking a highly competent, organized, experienced Medical Billing and Surgery Collections Specialist who will persistently follow up with insurance carriers and/or payers for correct claims processing and payments to reduce AR and maintain charge entry.

Medical Billing and Collections

  • Successful track record with in network and out of network claims
  • Well versed in all aspects of medical billing, authorizations and appeals for clinic and/or ambulatory surgery center or hospital
  • Experience enforcing proper payments from insurance companies
  • Well versed in insurance collections
  • Experience in medical A/R
  • Ability to interact positively with staff members and clinical offices and maintain a positive attitude with change
  • Able to follow instructions, document activity, and produce results
