Sales - Job Description

Territory - Buffalo and Central New York

Existing book of business and existing customers

Base plus commission

SALES ROLE

  1. Seek out new prospective target accounts that have not done business with ASI
  2. Identify list of target accounts within Education, Healthcare, Corporate and Developers
  3. Leverage sales admins in helping decreasing time spent on administrative tasks
  4. Prospect regularly (Daily)
  5. Balance sales representative activities with 60% business development
  6. Understand how to articulate, sell and position Design-Build
  7. Identify and organically grow revenue with existing customers
  8. Identify and expand buyer contacts
  9. Identify and visit inactive clients to uncover additional opportunities
  10. Timely follow up with customers
  11. Engage customers/prospects. Present, promote and sell products and services to clients. Be the face of ASI
  12. Manage client and internal time frame expectations
  13. Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximum satisfaction

GATHERING INFORMATION

  1. Provide clean, concise accurate and complete information
  2. Manage changes from clients
  3. Understand which questions to ask, managing answers and communicating back to clients
  4. Manage the flow of documents and information thru ASI

SALES TO PROJECT MANAGEMENT RELATIONSHIP

  1. Turn in a complete, accurate and detailed quote (based on standards)
  2. Providing accurate descriptions of items sold
  3. Ensure that the quote, drawings and message schedule match and are most current
  4. Provide supplier selected and current pricing
  5. Provide all supporting documentation
  6. Provide complete information necessary for install

PIPELINE MANAGEMENT

  1. Utilize i2 as vehicle to record sales activity for new and existing clients
  2. Utilize i2 to update leads and opportunities
  3. Create annual sales business plan
  4. Present progress update on business plan (three times a year)
  5. Present sales pipeline on a monthly basis
  6. Achieve annual sales goal
