Part-time Instructors–Digital Marketing (Two locations in Philadelphia, PA (M-W-F 7:43 - 9:24 am & M,T,TH &F 7:43 - 9:51 am)

Position Summary:

NuPaths is looking for instructors to teach courses that develop technical skills and prepare students to pass certifications. Courses will cover Photoshop, HTML& CSS, Google Ads, Google Analytics & Excel. There are 4 courses in the program. Depending on candidate availability, there is an option to teach 1, 2 or all courses at a specific location.

Location 1: Northeast High School - Class times: M-W-F 7:43 am to 9:24 am

Location 2: Building 21 Lab School- Class times: M-T- TH-F 7:43 am to 9:51 am

Responsibilities:

The selected candidate(s) will work with NuPaths to prepare for course sessions, deliver content in person during the class sessions, grade assignments and provide feedback, prepare students to pass the certification exam(s), and work with students individually and in small groups throughout the course.

Required qualifications:

2+ year’s work experience with Photoshop, HTML & CSS, Google Ads, Google Analytics, website data analysis, and Microsoft Excel. Teaching or training experience.

  • Photoshop: 2 years (Preferred)
  • HTML & CSS: 2 years (Preferred)
  • Google Ads: 2 years (Preferred)
  • Google Analytics: 2 years (Preferred)
  • Microsoft Excel: 2 years (Preferred)

Preferred Qualifications:

Degree in a related discipline or Photoshop, HTML& CSS, Google Ads, Google Analytics (IQ) and MOS: Microsoft Excel certifications. HS, career school, or higher education teaching experience.

Immediate Opportunity: Depending on candidate availability, there is an option to teach 1, 2 or all courses at a specific location. (These programs run throughout the school year.)

Course 1 -Web Design and Development Fundamentals: August 2024 - November 2024 - Teach Adobe Photoshop, HTML, CSS (skills and certification exam prep) ($5000 - Flat fee for the course - estimated at $50-$60 per hour)

Course 2 - Intro to Online Advertising: November 2024 - January 2025 - Teach a Google Ads course (skills and certification exam prep) ($2000 - Flat fee for the course - estimated at $50-$60 per hour)

-AND/OR-

Course 3 -Web Site Statistics and Data Analysis: January - April 2025- Teach a Google Analytics course (skills and certification exam prep) ($3000 - Flat fee for the course - estimated at $50-$60 per hour)

-AND/OR-

Course 4 - Digital Marketing Assistant Project Course - April - May 2025 - Support students to create a client marketing campaign and present digital marketing strategies. ($1500 - Flat fee for the course - estimated at $50-$60 per hour)
