Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for inspections, diagnosis, repair, and service.
  • Responsible for safe operation, maintenance, and preparation of assigned equipment.
  • Record keeping of equipment maintenance performed.
  • Adheres to and ensures that all safety practices and housekeeping standards are maintained to the highest standard.
  • Ensure that completed repairs are done to the highest quality.
  • Assist with administrative duties associated with maintaining activity records and logs regarding equipment and repairs.
  • Perform inspections, diagnostics, repairs, services, and rebuild of components and assemblies, plus determine serviceability and vehicle systems, assemblies and sub-assemblies and the need for repair.
  • Operates and performs routine maintenance and upkeep of equipment and tools.
  • Analyze malfunctions by visual and auditory examination or using a test.
  • Reassembles, adjusts, and tests repaired units for proper operations.
  • Perform preventative and special maintenance.

Qualifications:

  • Able to lift 50 lbs.
    • Ability to work in outside conditions and be exposed to dust, fumes, and gasses from internal combustion engines.
  • Perform road calls and drive to remote field sites.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Must have diesel knowledge.
  • Must have computer knowledge.
  • Must be able to work 6 days a week, with various schedule times.
  • Must have reading, writing, and math skills.
  • Pre-employment drug test required.
