We are seeking a Controller to become an integral part of our team You will oversee financial activities and personnel as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency.
Qualifications
• Proven experience as a Controller or similar role in corporate accounting
• Strong technical accounting knowledge with a deep understanding of GAAP principles
• Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling
• Experience with regulatory reporting requirements
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
Responsibilities
• As the Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities of the company, ensuring accuracy, and compliance with accounting standards
• This pivotal role involves financial planning, analysis, and reporting to support strategic decision-making by the management team
• Manage financial accounting aspects, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting
• Ensure precise and timely preparation of financial statements following GAAP standards
• Conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations and review general ledger accounts for accuracy
• Lead budgeting and forecasting processes to support strategic planning initiatives
• Develop and implement internal controls to protect company assets and ensure regulatory compliance
• Provide financial analysis and insights to aid in business decisions and identify areas for enhancement
• Collaborate with external auditors for annual audits and ensure adherence to audit requirements
• Stay abreast of accounting standards, regulations, and industry best practices for compliance and continuous improvement
• Backup on doing a Daily Operation report in excel
• Back up on Corporate AP
