As a Subway Sandwich Artist, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive customer experience by preparing and serving delicious and customized sandwiches according to Subway's high standards. Your artistic flair in sandwich assembly, excellent customer service skills, and attention to detail will contribute to the success of our franchise.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sandwich Preparation:

    • Craft sandwiches according to Subway recipes and customer preferences.
    • Ensure the quality and freshness of ingredients used in sandwich preparation.
    • Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards while handling and preparing ingredients.

  2. Customer Service:

    • Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming demeanor.
    • Assist customers in choosing menu items and customization options.
    • Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, taking orders, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

  3. Customization and Creativity:

    • Exercise creativity in assembling sandwiches, ensuring each order is visually appealing and meets Subway's quality standards.
    • Accommodate customer preferences and dietary restrictions with a positive and helpful attitude.

  4. Maintaining Cleanliness:

    • Keep the sandwich preparation and serving areas clean and organized.
    • Follow established cleaning procedures to maintain a hygienic work environment.

  5. Efficient Operation:

    • Work efficiently to maintain quick service during peak hours.
    • Ensure timely replenishment of ingredients to meet customer demand.
    • Operate sandwich preparation equipment responsibly and safely.

  6. Cash Handling:

    • Accurately handle customer payments, operate the cash register, and provide correct change.
    • Follow cash handling procedures to maintain accuracy and accountability.

  7. Team Collaboration:

    • Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations.
    • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to address any issues or concerns.

  8. Compliance:

    • Adhere to Subway's policies and procedures.
    • Stay informed about changes in the menu, promotions, and company policies.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Previous experience in a similar role or fast-food environment is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards.
  • Basic math skills for handling cash transactions.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and carry moderately heavy items (ingredients, supplies, etc.).
