Role and Responsibilities

· Answer the queries in a professional and efficient manner.

· Answer Phones.

· Follow the rules of the organization and maintain confidentiality.

· Schedule patients for services

· Coordinate with doctor for care of patient

· Place orders for clinic office supplies

· Communicate with insurance companies regarding procedures and their medical necessity to obtain authorization for the procedure.

· Work closely with referring providers to coordinate patient care.

· Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

· High school diploma or equivalent education.

· Ability to follow the protocols of the organization

· Excellent communication skills.

· Ability to work independently.

· Have a team member mentality.

· Ability to multi-task

· Manage time to improve efficiency

· Ability to remain organized and to show professionalism in work.

Preferred Skills

· 1 year medical reception/scheduling experience

Additional Notes

Previous Imaging Center Scheduling a plus.
