Turbine Mechanic-Millwright-Long Term Position

FTS Reliant is looking for experienced Turbine Mechanics for a great long term role with our #1 client in Houston, TX. Great managers and benefits
This is a contract-to-hire opportunity. The contract last 1040 hours (around 5 months) but the client has the option to buyout the contract early.
Wage depends heavily on Turbomachinery Experience, but the likely range is $0-$36/hr. starting out. There is plenty of OT available. After being brought on full-time, this position is eligible for a bump in pay, benefits, and double pay on Sundays.
Role: Disassemble, clean, inspect, reassemble turbomachinery
Shift: Swing (2 weeks days, 2 weeks nights) Typically 60+ hours per week
Qualifications:
- Ideally a shop oriented turbine/compressor mechanic with 5+ years experience.
- Comfortable with disassembling and reassembling engines and other complex components.
- Willing to work a heavy workload and weekends.
- Able to use precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, indicators, etc.)
- Own basic hand tools, impacts, indicators, small diameter mics. Willing to purchase net of whatever is needed to be successful for their craft.
- Good with numbers and documentation
- Safety oriented and team focus.
