Aero Mechanic

About the Role:

Sulzer Pumps (US) Inc. is seeking a skilled Aero Mechanic - Turbine Repair Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of aeroderivative turbomachinery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Disassemble, inspect, and assemble power turbines, gas generators, and accessory gear, and accessory components associated with aeroderivative machinery.
• Possess a proficient knowledge of professional hand tools to adequately perform daily assignments.
• Continuously gain knowledge of products, materials, and procedures to better perform duties, including updating safety processes.
• Keep the work areas clean and well-organized during disassembly, inspection, assembly, and when the job is completed.
• Be ready to travel to job sites or test facilities when called upon with tools and safety equipment.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Hands-on shop and/or field service experience in aero-derivative turbomachinery repair.
• Technical knowledge of aero-derivative turbomachinery repair.
• 4+ years of aeroderivative machinery experience is preferred but not required.
