Key Responsibilities- Disassemble, inspect, and assemble rotating equipment such as steam turbines, gas turbines, compressors, and gearboxes, adhering to Sulzer's established guidelines and safety protocols.
- Conduct thorough visual inspections of disassembled components, identifying wear, damage, or abnormalities that may affect equipment performance.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments to take accurate measurements and assess dimensional integrity of parts.
- Operate overhead cranes, torches, grinders, and forklifts when required.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports documenting findings and measurements.
- Execute unit assembly of repaired or replaced components, following technical specifications and quality standards.
- 3 years of hands-on experience in turbomachinery repair, preferably in a shop-oriented environment.
- High mechanical aptitude and experience in detailed mechanic industries, including turbines, compressors, and rotating equipment.
- Ability to work overtime when necessary.
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments.
