Role Description

This position requires the candidate to be a licensed CPA or be CPA-exam eligible. Entry level pay for the staff accountant position is $65,000 per year with additional pay being offered based on certifications, training and experience. This position is eligible for quarterly bonuses.

The Staff Accountant position is a hybrid position requiring services within our accounting services, tax and audit departments. The position is responsible for various day-to-day accounting tasks, including but not limited to client accounting services, financial statement preparation, tax return preparation, compilation engagements and audit team support.
 

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Excellent attention to detail and organization skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in accounting software (such as QuickBooks)
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • CPA or CPA eligible
  • Experience with non-profit accounting a plus
