At Richmond Community Services, we are seeking a highly skilled Staff Accountant to join our Finance Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
- Process finance-related documents, including H-1B staff documents, and maintain control of grant income and expenses.
- Generate reports and perform internal control functions as assigned.
- Act as back-up to Accounts Receivable Coordinator and Client Accounting Clerk to ensure timely billing and processing of resident activity.
- Perform other accounting functions as required and assist with special projects as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- Four years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a not-for-profit environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
