Property Maintenance Technician

Join the Peterson Properties maintenance team. Our company is New Mexico’s largest landlord and has been in business over 50 years. Our maintenance professionals are dedicated to general property care for over 1.4 million square feet of properties including retail, office, restaurant and residential. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the overall versatility and capacity of our growing maintenance staff with the ability to complete tasks such as HVAC maintenance, minor plumbing, landscape care, diagnosing and implementing roof repairs, make-ready work and repairing building equipment and systems. Work will occur both independently and under instruction from the Buildings Maintenance Supervisor.

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have valid drivers license & current car insurance
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
  • Basic maintenance experience
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Mathematical and reasoning skills
  • Ability to perform repairs, tasks, etc. independently, timely and efficiently

This position offers potential for advancement. Bilingual (Spanish) is preferred but not required. Valid references are required. $21.00 per hour, plus health coverage.  Hours are 7:00 am to 4:00 pm.
