As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for the strategic direction, development, and lifecycle management of AEM’s product lines. You will act as the key interface between the market and our internal teams, translating customer needs and market trends into product requirements. This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise, market analysis skills, and strategic vision. You will drive the product roadmap, ensure successful product launches, and work cross-functionally to maximize the commercial success of AEM’s products. By combining your deep understanding of the market with technical knowledge, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of AEM’s product offerings and ensuring they meet the evolving needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Strategy: Develop and execute the product strategy and roadmap for AEM’s product lines. Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape. Define product positioning and value propositions.

  • Product Development: Translate customer needs and market requirements into detailed product specifications. Collaborate with engineering and R&D teams to guide product development.

  • Lifecycle Management: Manage the entire product lifecycle from concept to end-of-life. Monitor product performance and implement improvements based on feedback and analytics. Plan and execute product phase-outs and transitions.

  • Pricing Optimization: Contribute to defining and executing pricing optimization strategies to maximize revenue, profitability, and market competitiveness.

  • Market and Customer Analysis: Conduct customer and market research to gather insights and validate product concepts. Engage with key customers to understand their requirements and gather feedback. Analyze sales data and market trends to inform product decisions.

  • Stakeholder Communication: Communicate product vision, strategy, and performance to key stakeholders, including executives, team members, and customers.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure successful product launches and go-to-market strategies. Coordinate with supply chain and manufacturing to ensure product availability and quality.

  • Product Launches: Plan and execute product launches, including developing launch plans, training sales teams, and creating marketing collateral. Monitor launch execution and performance, adjusting as needed.

  • Performance Tracking: Set and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for product success. Provide regular updates and reports on product performance to senior management.

  • Innovation and Improvement: Continuously seek out opportunities for product innovation and improvement. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field.

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in product management or related field in the electronic components industry.

  • Proven track record of successfully managing product lifecycles and driving product growth in the electronic components industry.

  • Strong background in market analysis and strategic planning.

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and leading product development initiatives.

  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present data and insights to senior management and functional leaders.

Travel

  • This position requires travel to customer sites, trade shows, and industry events up to 50% of the time.

We offer a competitive salary that is commensurate with experience and qualifications, in accordance with the State of California pay transparency laws. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other relevant factors.
