SUMMARY
The Product Manager is responsible for executing marketing processes for designated products. This includes design input for product development, go-to-market and promotional strategies including sales tools, market research and analysis, sales training and customer engagement. Product Manager will frequently work with cross-functional team members to achieve company goals and must act as a
driving motivator for the completion of projects with a proactive attitude.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Primary liaison for the brands of responsibility with other internal departments and field sales force personnel.
- Work cross-functionally with internal departments, field team, and external vendors and customers to develop and tactically execute programs and materials in support of product and business goals.
- Be proficient in clinical utility and value proposition of products. Condense complex scientific information into concise selling messages.
- Develop, manage, and execute brand strategies using mixed media methods (in-person or virtual events/ print and digital materials). Develop metrics to ensure and measure success of programs.
- Stay current on evolving market dynamics in the clinical laboratory, hospital, reimbursement, and related market segments.
- Monitor competitive activity, identify customer needs, and manage customer expectations.
- Collaborate on sales training to ensure effective, impactful training on products, tools, and programs.
- Engage with Opinion Leaders to roll out of high-impact, high-value sales and educational tools
- Assist and represent marketing team at workshops, congresses, trainings and other events as needed.
- Communicate plans and performance effectively to senior management.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Ability to travel domestically 10-15%.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Position generally requires at minimum a Bachelor's degree with 2 to 4 years of clinical or IVD product marketing experience. Understanding of GI diagnostic market preferred, but not required. Experience in clinical or diagnostic marketing, sales, and/or other supporting commercial roles preferred.
LANGUAGE/COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Proven and effective interpersonal communication skills with a demonstrated ability to interact with customers and colleagues in a positive, friendly, and professional manner. Excellent presentation and writing skills. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret professional journals, or technical information.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
