Property Management Company located in San Fernando Valley is looking for an Accountant to manage all A/P and A/R transactions for clients. Perform day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, payroll and other departmental projects, as necessary.

Responsibilities :

Review, enter all invoices to the system and obtain necessary approval prior to payment.

  • Process payments
  • All A/P &A/R required duties
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Maintain tenant ledgers
  • Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
  • Resolve invoice discrepancies
  • Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries
  • Produce monthly/quarterly reports for management and owners
  • Document preparation at year-end such as 1099's
  • Process business taxes
  • Process property taxes

Skills

  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work with excel work sheets, prepare budgets .
  • Ability work fast and accurate.
  • Ability to assume a high degree of responsibility, and work with minimal supervision
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Strong work ethic
  • Experience conducting accounting research
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is required
  • 2+ years of experience in accounting
  • Must be a team player
  • Must be willing go above and beyond
