The Billing Analyst I will assist with generating invoices by collecting data, applying contract prices, applying tax, and gathering approvals.
Compensation, Schedule, and Location
- $30 - $31 hourly
- Mon - Frid, 8am to 5pm, 3-days in-office
- 12655 Beatrice St. Los Angeles, CA 90066
Duties and Responsibilities
- Use existing billing models
- Provide 'Aging' information for invoices
- Calculate applicable shipping costs & sales taxes
- Obtain all necessary approvals
- Track new & shipped jobs
- Prepare reports for management, as needed
- Complete special billing requests from Client Services
- Perform other duties, as assigned
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- Accounting knowledge, billing, invoice - is required
- Superior Excel skills, including the ability to create pivot tables, conditional formulas (if, sumif), v-lookups, etc.
- Familiarity with Tableau and Power BI is a plus
- Familiarity with Microsoft Access and SQL Server Studio and the ability to create and run queries a plus
- Good organizational skills and follow-up habits are essential
- Strong communication skills and the ability to prioritize
- Excellent attention to detail
- Perform all work and activities with honesty and integrity
- Take personal responsibility for productivity, quality and timeliness of work
- Effectively communicate (and listen) clearly, professionally, politely and persuasively in all situations; respond well and in a reasonable, timely manner
- Challenge conventional practices and use creativity and information to lead, innovate, problem solve, and implement ideas to contribute to the growth of the organization
