Position Title: Radiology Manager

Overview:

The Radiology Manager is responsible for the overall management and supervision of the radiology department. This includes overseeing staff, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, managing equipment, growing the business and optimizing workflow efficiency to provide high-quality imaging services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Staff Management:
    • Recruit, hire, train, and evaluate radiology department staff.
    • Create and maintain staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage.
    • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to radiology personnel.
    • Conduct performance reviews and implement disciplinary action when necessary.
    • Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and professional development.
  • Quality Assurance and Compliance:
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, including those set by governing bodies such as the FDA, ACR (American College of Radiology), and state health departments.
    • Develop and implement quality assurance programs to maintain high standards of patient care and imaging accuracy.
    • Monitor and evaluate radiology procedures to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
    • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to department activities and compliance efforts.
  • Equipment Management:
