All travel-related expenses will be covered by the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
(90%) Patient Mammography Imaging
- Conduct pre-exam screenings to identify any precautions or contraindications
- Clearly explain imaging procedures to patients and position them appropriately
- Execute Mammography imaging procedures with minimal oversight
- Adjust imaging parameters and apply dose reduction techniques
- Foster positive interactions with healthcare professionals and patients
- Adhere strictly to physicians' orders and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate patient records within the system
- Ensure a clean work environment and follow safety guidelines
- Comply with HIPAA regulations
(5%) Support for the Mammography Department
- Assist in the upkeep of imaging protocol manuals and software updates
- Monitor and manage supply inventory, requesting items as necessary
- Facilitate the training of new staff members
(5%) Additional Responsibilities
Qualifications:
- Registered technologist with ARRT certification
- Graduate from an AMA accredited radiography program
- Licensed Radiological Technologist, if applicable
- Current CPR certification
- Experience in Mammography imaging
- Certification in imaging specialty
- Commitment to ongoing education in the modality
