Description

Expanding regional law firm is seeking a full-time legal assistant to join our office in Sandy Springs, Georgia. Competitive compensation package with health benefits and 401(k) option offered. This is a great opportunity to join our office and contribute to the growth and expansion of our firm's presence in this area, while also developing your own legal experience by working closely with attorneys and other legal staff through all steps of litigation, up to and through trial.

Responsibilities

  • Meet deadlines
  • Provide support to multiple attorneys
  • Draft documents
  • Manage multiple tasks
  • Perform detail-oriented processes
  • Possess the ability to function well in a team environment
  • This is a scheduling-heavy position in a high-volume environment

Qualifications

  • A minimum of one year of heavy legal scheduling experience
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel and Outlook is required
  • Experience serving court documents, e-filing, and working PI cases is preferred
  • Successful candidate should have experience managing multiple projects at once.
  • Proficiency in legal terminology and procedures
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for drafting legal documents and interacting with clients
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Detail-oriented approach to ensure accuracy in all documentation
  • Ability to work independently while also being a team player in a fast-paced environment
