Position Title: Regional Marketing Specialist

Essential Job Duties

  • Develop, communicate, and maintain strategic community relations marketing plan and calendar based on store and corporate visions; identify and manage strategic opportunities within the community; coordinate store events and partnerships; schedule, coordinate and plan successful execution of in-store events; handle all community donations and associated programs.
  • Develop marketing strategy and written action plans to achieve store specific objectives; analyze and report on success of marketing programs; create and maintain monthly event calendar. 
  • Execute marketing campaigns - Collaborate with regional buyers and managers to execute in-store marketing efforts; ensure signage placement; distribute/display collateral materials as directed; provide direction and implementation of strategic cross merchandising. 
  • Establishes and maintains a consistent corporate image and brand voice throughout the merchandising, signing, and digital advertising efforts.
  • Reviews market research to anticipate competition on natural food market trends and translate consumer attitudes into new branding directions.
  • Social Media – Develop, design and create unique content, generate engaging copy reflective of brand voice, monitoring of social media outlets, organizing social media calendars, increase followers and drive shoppers to stores.
  • Graphic Design – Design and curate company branding, in-store assets, may include private labeling packaging, apparel merchandise, mailers, weekly ads, e-newsletters etc.
  • E-Commerce and Web Design – Update website content and oversee all online ordering and online shopping
  • Photography – Create in-store photography, filming, interviews, photo-editing etc.
  • Media and PR – Connect with local news media and handle all advertising placement opportunities
  • Events – Organize, coordinate and staff all in store and off-site events. Generate event flyers, coordinate ticket sales, and assist with day of event set up and tear down.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years community relations, event marketing, marketing plan development, and event planning with proven creative development working with a small budget
  • Knowledge of natural products or foods industry
  • Proven ability to build relationships and network
  • Self-directed and ability to work both autonomously and with various teams and task forces
  • Excellent proven verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational, time, and budget management skills with attention to detail
  • Knowledge of local community/marketplace
  • Computer skills in Microsoft Office suite, and Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva
  • Experience in multiple channels of digital marketing

 Work Hours:               Availability requirements include; but are not limited to; days, evenings, weekends, & holidays.
