Bookkeeper Accountant

CPA firm seeks a Full Time Bookkeeper for our Arlington office to be a team leader for several staff positions
Bookkeeper responsibilities include:
- Prepare Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual Financial Statements for Client's Books
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements, outstanding loan balances, prepaid accounts, and other balance sheet accounts. Research and address any uncleared transactions or discrepancies.
- Review coding on all P&L transactions to ensure that all items are reported properly. Reclassing of items as needed.
- Create monthly, quarterly, annual journal entries to allocate prepaid, depreciation, accrue expenses, etc.
- Work closely and supervise various staff who assist in the data entry into QuickBooks.
- Filing sales tax and payroll tax.
- Preparation of some individual income tax returns.
Office responsibilities include:
- Scanning support documents.
Requirements:
- QuickBooks experience, knowledge of Microsoft excel, and strong verbal skills.
- Ability to work closely in a small office environment.
