Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist I to support our client’s medical facility based in  Medical Assistant. This is a 3 month assignment with the possibility of a contract-to-hire opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization

Job Title: Medical Assistant (MA) - Family Medicine
Location:  Milwaukee, WI 
Duration: 3 Months+
Schedule:Monday thru Friday 07:45am -4:30pm 
Clinic Type: Outpatient Family Clinic
Pay Range : $28-32 per hour

*Pay rate is based on years of experience and educational qualifications.


About the Role:

Join our dedicated team as a Medical Assistant in a bustling family medicine clinic. You will be an integral part of a team providing exceptional care to pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. Our clinic handles approximately 200-300 patients daily and offers a range of services including wellness visits, sick visits, vaccinations, minor procedures, and more. The role includes interaction with an on-site urgent care facility, though it operates separately from the Family Practice.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care including taking vitals, gathering medical history, and assisting with minor procedures.
Administer injections such as vaccines, Depo, testosterone, Toradol, and Rocephin.
Perform A1C testing, room patients, and assist with cultures/pap smears.
Comfortable calling patients with normal test results and managing medical records.
Efficiently utilize Ambulatory EPIC for patient management and documentation.

Minimum Qualifications:

1 year of Medical Assistant experience in a clinical setting.
Pediatric experience, specifically in administering pediatric vaccines.
Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Proficiency in Ambulatory EPIC.

Additional Skills:

Experience with a variety of injections and patient care procedures.
Ability to communicate effectively with patients and provide compassionate care.
Familiarity with obtaining and managing patient information.
