Job DescriptionJob Description

Savin Engineers is seeking for Contract Specialist for long term project in lower Manhattan.  Primarily performing contract specialist duties of a diverse nature requiring some independent analysis, exercise of judgment in task execution, and detailed knowledge of company procedures related to the work performed. Work may consist of a variety of duties in support of construction management operations.

Responsiblities:

  • Prepare and/or reviewe payment applications
  • Perform desk audits of contractor billings, ensuring proper documentation is received from contractors for all aspects of the contract
  • Prepare monthly reports, monitore contracts,
  • Prepare Project Meeting Minutes,
  • Prepare general correspondence, schedule meetings/ inspections, faxing, posting information to logs; maintaining databases, records and filing systems; making follow up calls and appointments; communicating by phone, email, and 2-way radio; monitoring inventory; and coordinating processes.

 

  • Associate Degree in Business 
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  •  Ability to obtain a high SWAC clearance.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, One Drive, SharePoint, and SAP.
  • Excellent oral, written communication and presentation skills.
