Reporting to the owner, you will be responsible for reviewing daily work orders, performing cabling tasks as instructed by general manager, and/or sales engineer, overseeing the crew and the quality of the site, while adhering to safety requirements, company standards, industry regulations, as well as state and local codes. Essential Job Responsibilities

install structured cabling in various environments, following all safety requirements and industry standards.

Running, pulling, terminating, testing, and splicing cables, routers switches, multiplexors, cable trays, activating remote access, installing conduit, and ladder racks.

Perform troubleshooting tasks to satisfy customer requests, utilizing manuals, and technical specifications.

Document networks by labeling the equipment and cables.

Maintain a clean and orderly work vehicle and ensure necessary stock is on service truck regularly.

Keep updated on materials needed. Place orders and verify receipts. Order and gather equipment, supplies, and tools, and keep updated on materials needed, inventorying stock.

Ensure that all paperwork completed by the crew is accurate and submitted on time, according to company instructions.

Accurately complete daily time sheet, including a detailed report of work completed for the day’s tasks.

Maintain safe work environment by following codes, standards, and legal regulations. Conduct site safety analysis checklist regularly as instructed, while managing all safety documentation and logs.

Ensure materials are on available, and site is running efficiently. Place material orders from allocated vendors.

Communicate with and notify sales engineer, regarding any deviation of work performed by crew.

Provide daily progress reports, including any obstacles that you have identified, as well potential problem-solving solutions that you have devised.

Take responsibility for the scope of work and execute it efficiently from start to finish, to ensure timely and profitable completion of the job.

Organize and schedule crews to efficiently utilize manpower.

Receive daily inspection and perform tasks as given by general manager and/or sales engineer.

Provide daily progress reports to include updates on problem solving opportunities you have handled.

Make sure materials are on site and organized, to keep crews efficient.

.Update job knowledge by participating in educational programs, reading and technical publications.

Maintain network by troubleshooting and repairing outages, testing network, back-up procedures, updating documentation.

Verifies services by testing circuits, equipment, and alarms, identifying correcting, or escalating problems.

Essential Requirements:

Valid drivers license with clean driving record.

Maintain customer rapport by listening to, and resolving concerns, answering questions.

Strong vision, with the ability to determine the difference between cables and wires continuously.

Must be flexible and possess the ability to adapt to changes in work responsibilities, in the event of manpower changes, or other issues.

Good listening skills, ability not only to lead a crew, but to follow directions from above.

Strong attention to detail, excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills required.
