Electronics Technician

CLYNK is a circular economy solutions provider. We make it easy for retailers, brands, redemption operators and everyday people to do the right thing through our consumer-centric “bag-drop” technology solutions. We are the fastest growing mode of beverage container recycling and the most requested option by consumers. Our technology supports recycling at scale across an entire ecosystem including states with Deposit Recovery Systems (aka Bottle Bills) and Producer Responsibility Organizations or Brands who enable customers to recycle with convenient solutions.

 

Summary:

We are currently seeking an Electronics Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience assembling electronic equipment, building cables, low voltage troubleshooting, and maintaining inventory. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to comprehend complex technical manuals.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Set up electronic systems and devices according to technical specifications
  • Assemble and connect system components, including cables, with precision and accuracy
  • Build prototype models based on technical guidelines and project requirements
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular reports on status and performance
  • Test system functionality and analyze data to identify and resolve any issues
  • Repair malfunctions in circuitry and other system structures as needed
  • Read and comprehend complex manuals, diagrams, and technical documents
  • Update reports and maintain inventory of parts and equipment
  • Collaborate with engineers and other professionals on technical tasks and projects
  • Operate various hand and power tools

 

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Electronics Technician or similar role
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools used in electronics assembly and repair
  • Strong understanding of electronic components, circuits, and systems
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to comprehend and follow complex technical manuals and instructions
  • Good manual dexterity and ability to work with precision
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or training preferred

 

Additional Requirements:

  • Physical requirements: must be able to sit and stand for long periods of time, lift 75 lbs., operate basic power tools without supervision and be comfortable installing low voltage electrical equipment
  • Schedule: this is a non-exempt, hourly position expected to work 40 hours per week; additional hours may be necessary outside of normal business hours according to business demands
  • Travel: occasional travel depending on the business development needs; anticipated travel up to 15%
