Office hours are 8:30 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday. Salary is based on the applicant’s experience.

Requirements

· Have a positive attitude and excel in a team environment.

· Have a working understanding of Florida statutes and probate code.

· Proficiency with the Florida e-filing process.

· Routinely calendars reminders and meets deadlines.

· Highly detail-oriented, organized and able to prioritize duties.

· Ability to work with a high level of accuracy, especially with computations.

· Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

· Experience in handling confidential and sensitive information.

· Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, document management software and the ability to learn new software. Familiarity with LEAP software is a plus.

 

Responsibilities under Attorney Supervision

· Preparation of estate planning documents, probate pleadings, trust administration documents, fiduciary accountings and estate tax returns.

· File management, clerical duties, and all other office-related activities.

· Corresponding with clients in writing and in person.

· Participation in client meeting, estate plan signings and corresponding with the courts.
