Job Summary:
The Human Resources Coordinator will be responsible for providing general support to the HR department in the areas of recruiting, onboarding and off-boarding, personnel record keeping, employee benefit plan administration, and HRIS.
This individual will also perform a variety of other HR-related duties and projects.
Job Functions:
- Support the Business Professionals recruiting process, including opening requisitions, posting positions on the Firm’s internal and external job boards, liaising with recruiting agencies, scheduling and conducting candidate interviews, administering skills assessments, and soliciting interview feedback.
- Utilize the Firm’s Applicant Tracking System and Candidate Self-Service to monitor and process candidate submissions, maintain candidate materials, and update status records.
- Support the onboarding process for new hires by initiating background checks, creating, collaborating with the hiring managers to plan, schedule, and lead orientations, ensuring review and completion of new hire checklists and paperwork, including I-9s, and conducting HR Check-ins.
- Facilitate the offboarding process for all employees by scheduling HR Exit Interviews and summarizing feedback gathered from exit surveys.
- Maintain accuracy of all employee personnel and benefit records.
- Audit monthly employee benefit plan invoices, ensuring additions, terminations, and changes have taken place correctly and in a timely manner.
- Enter accurate and timely data into the firm’s HRIS system, including employee information, job-related updates, benefit changes, and training program participation.
- Maintain and update HR department forms, policies, and procedures.
- Respond to employment verifications as requested.
- Assist with special projects and provide general support to the Human Resources Department.

- Expert organizational skills and discretion.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- 1-2 years of HR experience in a professional services environment. Will consider internship experience.
- Strong attention to detail with a demonstrated ability to take initiative, work independently, establish priorities, and complete diverse assignments on a timely basis, while having good judgment as to when consultation is required.
- Proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.
- Superior verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional demeanor and presentation consistent with a professional office environment.
- Ability to handle confidential information and deal with sensitive issues in a discreet and ethical manner.
- Reliable team-player with a positive attitude and demonstrated commitment to providing superior client service.
- Strong technical skills in Microsoft Office. Experience with HRIS preferred.
