Business Development Specialist

This position is Part-Time to start, with a vision to grow to Full-Time within 6-8 months.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The Business Development Specialist executes campaigns to create and build referral sources
- Meets regularly with referring physicians and other referral sources to ensure services delivered are meeting expectations
- Identifies new referral sources through direct contact, and other lead generation sources
- Minimum of 30-40 contacts with “decision makers” a week
- Work closely with operations for new program initiatives
- Monitors referrals and responds accordingly
- Work with the Care Coordination Department to develop case studies, create customer appreciation letters and interpret customer usage statistics
- Utilize strategies and objectives as outlined by the directors
- Complete reports including: daily documentation of visits, quarterly reports and presentations on various data analyzing initiatives
- Work with staff to develop activities/communication strategies to influence a positive community relationship with physicians, physical therapists, occupational therapists, athletic trainers and other allied health care professionals
- Monitors cross departmental communications to ensure a positive experience
- Promote continuous communication between the organization and client groups to ensure clear understanding between Professional and the client’s needs
- Participate in facility openings with announcements and referral development
- Represent the company in corporate events, industrial meets, trade shows and conferences
- Other duties deemed necessary to drive business development initiatives
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ideally, 1-2+ years of sales/marketing experience. Preferably, experience within the healthcare (and physical therapy) field.
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Excellent organizational & time management skills
- Working knowledge of Customer Relationship Management & Lead Generation Strategies
