Job DescriptionJob Description

Medical practice hiring a full time RN or LPN to work in our procedure center and clinic. This is an interventional pain procedure facility/medical clinic. We are looking for someone that has experience with pain procedures and pain pumps. Some responsibilities are:

-Assisting with preop and postop of interventional pain procedures.

-Administering IV's, monitoring vital signs, recovering patients after IV sedation, discharging patients, chart prep and data entry. patient follow-up, assisting with prescriptions.

-Assisting with pain pumps and ordering refill medications

- Rooming patients, documenting vitals and obtaining patient history
- Properly identify patients and correctly use phlebotomy methods (e.g. venipuncture, skin
puncture)
- Scribing for the assigned provider
- Checking PMP reports
- Cleaning and stocking exam rooms
- Patient phone messages as directed by the provider and/or clinical supervisor
- Scrub schedule daily for preparation of requisitions for urine and blood samples and
preparing sample for testing.
- Draw labs with the right venipuncture method and ensure optimal quality and quantity of
samples.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality

Pay dependent on experience, train and educational background.

Job Type: Full-time

Requirements:

- Proven experience as LPN or RN
- Experience with effective puncture techniques
- Understanding proper patient identification methods
- Ability to us computers to enter information
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Certification is required
- Potential travel - 25%

Pay: $22-35 per hour based on experience
