As the Coating Process Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and quality of our production operations. You will be responsible for overseeing the coating processes and technologies used in the manufacturing of our buses. Your expertise in coatings and your ability to optimize the processes will be instrumental in achieving our production targets while maintaining the highest standards of quality.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement coating processes that meet the requirements for quality, efficiency, and sustainability
  • Optimize existing coating processes and technologies to improve productivity and reduce waste
  • Manage and lead a team of coating technicians, providing guidance and training to ensure adherence to standard operating procedures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements and cost-saving initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the department
  • Monitor and analyze coating performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in coating technologies, recommending and implementing innovations as appropriate

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing coating processes, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of coating technologies, materials, and application techniques
  • Proven track record in optimizing coating processes to improve productivity and quality
  • Experience in leading and managing a team
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations and practices in relation to coating processes
  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a cross-functional team environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
