From initial design concepts through aircraft integration and operation, our company provides the highest quality full-lifecycle support to our customers.
This position is directly in the product flow line, positioned between completed product and the Shipping function. Starting with completed products and services as input, the incumbent confirms compliance of the material, prepares and executes compliance and other documentation and conducts or executes source inspection with or on behalf of customers and agencies. This position has customer-facing responsibilities.
Requirements:- In association with the customer support group, determine the destination customer for completed parts/services input to the group.
- Prepare and/or collect all required compliance documentation such as Shipper, Certificate of Conformance, ATP (test) data sheets, customer-directed forms, etc.
- Conduct and document over inspection of material/services on behalf of Cox
- Schedule and execute delegated source inspection duties on behalf of customers and regulatory agencies.
- Maintain an efficient flow of material thru the group in support of on-time-deliveries.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 3-5 years inspection experience – mechanical and/or electrical
- 3-5 years related product experience in a production or inspection related role.
- In lieu of experience, a 2-year education in Mechanical Technology, or similar
Desired Qualifications
- Previous FAA DMIR or similar delegation.
- Previous customer source inspection delegation: aerospace preferred.
- Direct customer-facing experience.
Skills and Abilities
- Ability to work with minimal supervision in a high paced development environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to effectively represent the Company in direct contact with customer an agency representative, sometimes in stressful situations.
