Role and Responsibilities

  • Manage Incoming Inspection and Final Acceptance Departments.
  • Ensure inspection of all products and services to demonstrate compliance.
  • Oversee proper retention of quality records.
  • Report on metrics to upper management.
  • Identify and implement improvement opportunities.
  • Approve and validate corrective action responses.
  • Understand customer quality requirements and ensure compliance.
  • Support customer and third-party audits.



Job Requirement:

Qualifications

  • Direct quality assurance experience in an aerospace environment under an AS9100 quality management system or related regulated industry.
  • Supervisory or managerial experience preferred.

Education and Experience

  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or related, technical field.

Additional Notes

  • Schedule production inspection demands.
  • Hire qualified candidates; monitor, evaluate and develop staff.
  • Communicate at all levels of the organization and with customer and regulatory representatives.
  • FAIR, SPC, APQP, and PPAP experience preferred.
