Position: Electrical Quality Assurance Inspector

Executive Alliance is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual to perform quality inspections on electronic and electromechanical assemblies as well as finished products using standard measurement tools and specialized testing equipment. The successful candidate will adhere to and implement final Acceptance Test Procedures, assess product adherence to specifications, and play a vital role in identifying and resolving issues related to products and testing apparatus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute inspections of electronic assemblies and sub-assemblies in accordance with established testing protocols and personal expertise.
  • Diagnose assembly defects down to the PCB level.
  • Identify and rectify PCB issues at the component level.
  • Recognize and troubleshoot system-related product-equipment challenges.
  • Record testing and inspection outcomes in compliance with company standards.
  • Assist in the ongoing enhancement of testing and troubleshooting methodologies.
  • Perform additional tasks as required.

Qualifications and Skills:

Essential Requirements:

  • Proficient in reading and interpreting assembly and PCB schematics in English.
  • Capable of executing test procedures based on published documentation.
  • Skilled in operating specialized testing rigs.
  • Experienced with standard measurement instruments including DVM, Hi-Pot, bonding resistance testers, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.
  • Familiar with both passive and active components, as well as integrated circuits including CPLD and microprocessors.
  • Able to work with minimal technical and administrative oversight.
  • Competent in developing enhancements to testing and troubleshooting practices.

Education and Experience:

  • Associate degree or certification in electronics is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience is required.
  • Experience exceeding 5 years may be considered in lieu of formal educational qualifications.
