Scope of Position:

The Learning and Development Specialist will play a pivotal role in enhancing the knowledge, skills, and competencies of our workforce to meet the dynamic demands of the security industry. The L&OD Specialist is expected to collaborate closely with HR professionals, department managers, and subject matter experts to design, develop, implement, and evaluate training programs tailored to the needs of our business.

Essential Job Duties:

Training Needs Analysis: Conduct thorough assessments to identify the learning needs and skill gaps within different departments and roles within Arrow Security.

Curriculum Development: Design and develop comprehensive training materials, including manuals, presentations, e-learning modules, and other multimedia resources, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry best practices.

Training Delivery: Facilitate engaging and interactive training sessions, workshops, and seminars both in-person and virtually, utilizing a variety of instructional techniques to accommodate diverse learning styles.

Learning Management System (LMS) Management: Oversee the administration of the company's LMS, including content uploading, user management, tracking training progress, and generating reports to measure training effectiveness.

Performance Support: Provide ongoing support and resources to employees to reinforce learning and facilitate on-the-job application of new skills and knowledge.

Evaluation and Feedback: Implement evaluation mechanisms to assess the impact and effectiveness of training initiatives, gather feedback from participants, and continuously improve learning experiences.

Compliance and Licensing/Certification: Stay abreast of industry regulations and standards related to security practices; partner with Corporate Governance and operational departments to ensure that training programs align with compliance requirements and licensing/certification standards.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and industry associations to leverage expertise and resources, foster collaboration, and enhance the quality of training offerings.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.

- Proven experience (5-7 years) in designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs, preferably in the security industry or a related field.

- Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and training delivery techniques.

- Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning authoring tools.

- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing business needs.

- Certification in training and development (e.g., CPLP, CPTM) is a plus.

**Must be in Commuting Distance of Corporate and NYC location.

Annual Salary Range - $85,000 to $115,000
