Essential Qualifications:
  • Valid N.Y. State Registered Dietician's License is required
  • N.Y. State Driver's License is preferred
  • Knowledge of OPEDD regulations is advantageous
  • Experience working with MR/DD populations is preferred
Key Responsibilities:
  • Create tailored nutrition plans for clients
  • Develop meal plans for staff members
  • Educate personnel on dietary guidelines and meal plans
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings as necessary
  • Compile monthly and yearly nutritional reports
  • Ensure adherence to OPWD standards
  • Work closely with nursing staff on dietary matters
  • Uphold food safety and quality standards
