Current Opportunity: Procurement Specialist

Shift Options: 11-8, 12-9, or 1-10

Weekend shifts available.

As a Procurement Specialist at Lane Valente Industries, you will play a critical role in ensuring the procurement of high-quality vendors for facilities maintenance and construction services.

You will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and managing vendors to optimize relationships, enhance efficiency, and reduce costs.

Your expertise in procurement will directly impact our ability to deliver exceptional service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research to identify potential vendors and suppliers.
  • Evaluate and assess vendor capabilities, including financial stability and product quality.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms with vendors to secure favorable pricing and conditions.
  • Monitor and manage vendor performance, ensuring adherence to agreed-upon standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement strategies with business goals.
  • Implement and maintain vendor scorecards to track and improve performance.
  • Proactively identify cost-saving and efficiency improvement opportunities within the supply chain.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in procurement.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in procurement and vendor management.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
