Infertility/Gynecology Practice:

Position 1: Medical/Office Assistant - Front Office

Position 2: Medical Assistant - Back Office

Electronic Medical Records experience, Medical terminology/Medical office experience, a MUST

Full time or Part time Assistant with experiences:

Position 1 (Medical/Office Assistant - Front Office): Salary: $15.00-$19.00 per hour. Office duties including answering the phone, making the appointment, checking in the patients, Need to interact with the patients regarding their financial responsibilities, make payment arrangements, collect payments; monitor and pursue delinquent accounts. General secretary duties including typing, copying/filing, making payment and monitor office expenses. Working with the billing company regarding the health insurance benefits and obtaining authorization for certain procedures.

Position 2 (Medical Assistant - Back Office): Salary: $15.00-$19.00 per hour. Medical duties include preparing patients for examination by performing preliminary physical tests; taking blood pressure, weight, and temperature; reporting patient history summary. * Venipuncture. Drawing the blood for testing. Intramuscular injection (will be trained). *Assisting office procedures such as ultrasound exam. * Explaining to patients about test results and procedures. Give patients instructions. * Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt, possibly running the serum hormonal assay in the lab, etc.

 

Bachelor/Associate degree, BILINGUAL (SPANISH) SPEAKING, OB/GYN experience: A plus.

Individuals with accounting (Position 1) or nursing or laboratory (Position 2) background and experiences of working in the medical office are preferred.

Skills/Qualifications:

Need to be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and assist physician to explain to the patients regarding the results of the exams and treatment plans. Good interpersonal skills with the patients and co-workers are required.

Updates job knowledge with self motivation, able to handle multi-tasks

Well organized, detailed oriented, good interpersonal relationship
