Front Desk Medical Receptionist 

Well-established noninvasive/interventional cardiology practice located on Florida’s beautiful Treasure Coast (Ft Pierce/Vero area) has an immediate full-time opportunity available for a professional engergetic team-oriented individual for our front desk.

Responsibilities to include: Provide exceptional customer service for our patients and providers, excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong computer skills. Answering phones, greeting patients at check-in and check-out, scheduling appointments and procedures, performing insurance verification and authorizations, educate patients on their insurance as needed. Collect copayments and balances at the time of service. Provide daily accounting of all transactions.

 

Job Type: Full-Time Hours vary: Monday, Tuesday & Friday 8:30am-5:00pm Wednesday and Tursdays 7:30am-4:00pm

 

Job Requirements

· Strong office and receptionist skills

· Strong knowledge of insurance plans including co-payments, co-insurances and deductibles.

· Two years of prior medical office experience, Cardiology a plus

· 2 + years of EMR experience

· Able to commute to Vero office 1-2 times a month
